Every Bamba rug represents hours of handwork. This is how we transform a noble natural material into a piece of artisanal art.
Selecting the hide
We choose Argentinian cowhides for their density, sheen and natural hair. Only a select few meet our standards.
Artisanal treatment
Each hide is tanned and treated by hand to preserve its softness and durability for decades, without harsh industrial processes.
Cutting and composition
We cut every section by hand and compose the pattern piece by piece, working with natural marks, grain and colour.
Hand stitching
The final joins are stitched by hand, one point at a time. The result is a piece that exists nowhere else in the world.
A living material
Cowhide ages beautifully, gaining character over the years without losing softness. It is durable, easy to maintain and naturally hypoallergenic.
That is why our rugs are not designed for a season, but to last a lifetime in homes that value authenticity.
